  • 09/18/2026 Vote-by-Mail / Absentee / Military and Overseas Absentee Voting begins -- ballots to be mailed

  • 10/05/2026 Deadline to Register to Vote. Boards of elections and the Ohio Secretary of State's office are open until 9 p.m.

  • 10/06/2026 Opening of Early In-Person and Vote-by-Mail (Absentee) voting.

    Early In-Person Voting Hours:

  • October 6 to 9: 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

  • October 12 to 16: 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

  • October 19 to 23: 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

  • October 24: 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.

  • October 26: 7:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m.

  • October 27: 7:30 a.m. to 8:30 p.m.

  • October 28 to 30: 7:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m.

  • October 31: 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.

  • November 1: 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.

  • 10/27/2026 8:30 pm deadline for applications by mail for an Vote-by-Mail / Absentee ballot to be mailed

  • 11/01/2026 Voting in-person at the Board of Elections ends at 5:00 p.m.

  • 11/03/2026 6:30 a.m. - 7:30 p.m. - Election Day - Provisional voting at the Board of Elections

  • 11/03/2026 All regular Vote-by-Mail / Absentee ballots returned in-person must be received at the Board of Elections by 7:30 p.m. in order to be counted

  • 11/07/2026 Ballots must be received by the Board of Elections
